had amaths comon test , emaths loci test and pp o's spa last week .yes wed to friday i'm packed with those .
but whatever the case i FINISHED them .
WHEE . :))
everything should be a past .
spa was the best .

ARGH .
oh yea chinese new year was okok .
visiting on all day .
quanitity was poor however ,
quality was good lahs .

had chalet friday , saturday and sunday .
was like thinking how the fuck ,
can i study for my common test which is tommorrow .
so i sacrifies ONE NIGHT .
hahas . left on saturday night .
2 plus reached home bathe and slept .
and mugged from 2 to 6 .
4 hours in my lovely room .

RED BLOOD CELL :
the function of rbc is to transort oxygen from the lungs to the other parts of the body .
it has haemoglobin . this enables rbc to transport oxygen .
it is circular in shape with a thin central position and is biconcave in shape .
this increases surface area to volume ratio , thus more blood can diffuse in at a faster rate
. the rbc lacks of organelle like the nuclues , this allow more oxygen to be transported .
ROOT HAIR CELL :
the function of RHC is to absorb water and mineral salts from the soil . it has a long and narrow protrusion for efficien absorption of water and mineral salts from the soil .
XYLEM VESSEL :
the function of the XV is to provide mechanical suport and to transport water and mineral salts . it is a long and narrow cylindrial tube with a continous lumen . this is due to the absence of coss wall . absence of cross wall allow water to be tranported easier and more efficiently through the xylem . it has lignin deposited on it . lignin strengthened the xylem and prevent collapse of the XV .

HOMEOSTASIS : (the maintance of constant internal temperatue)
when there is changes in the temperature of the environment , the heat receptor is stimulated .
thus is sent nerve impulses to the hypothalamus in the brain . this enables us to feel the sensation of hot or cold .
when temperature rises , the nervie impulses trigger the cooling mechanism , the sweat gland , arteriole and erector muscle .
firstly , the arteriole under the skin will dilates , more blood is bring near the body surface . this enables more heat to be loss to the surroundings .
secondly , the sweat gland will be activated , causing more sweating to occur . evapouration will help removed excess heat frm the body .
thirdly , the erector muscle will relax , thus the hair will lie flat on the body . thus no air is trapped under the hair above the skin , insulation decreases . therefore , heat is loss by convection and radiation .
when blood sugar glucose increases , the pancrease will be stimulated to released insulin . insuline will then convert glucose to glycogen and store it in the liver . secondly , the insulin will increase the uptake of sugar by the cell , thus blood sugar level will drops and retun to normal .
when blood sugar level decreases , the pancrease will secrete glucagon . glucagon will then convert glycogen to glucose . therefore , sugar level rise and return to normal .

TOUCH HOT OBJECT :
when the hand touches the hot object , the heat stimulate the receptor which is the nerve ending under the skin . nerve impulses are generated . nerve impulses travels along the receptor neuron to the spinal cord . in the spinal cord , the nerve impulses are transmitted across the first synpase to the relay neuron then across the second synapse to the effector neuron . the nerve impuslses leave the spinal cord alond the effector neuron to the effector which is the hand muscle in this case . as a result the hand in the muscle will contracts and pull away .
